June 2025 5.00We enjoyed two nights on Lake Erie. The place is rustic as you would expect with a log cabin of this age. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Beds comfy. But the lake view was the focus and it didn’t disappoint. If you value location and view over rustic, this place is for you.

June 2025 5.00Beautiful home with beautiful views. Michael was very kind and accommodating! The deck was amazing!! We basically lived out there during our stay. The Luna Pier Beach Cafe nearby has great food and entertainment. I would definitely stay here again.

June 2025 5.00Great location and perfect for what we wanted. A great getaway on the water. Michael was amazingly responsive and even let us check in earlier which worked out perfectly after getting to Luna Pier early for a delicious breakfast at Gander's! All local food places and a couple in Monroe made our visit fantastic! Uber ride were cheap so we could enjoy ourselves! Only drawback were the Mayflies in Luna Pier and at property!! Hard to enjoy the amazing outside features while battling them. We're super laid back and go with the flow, so we still had a great time, but definitely will not book again during Mayfly season and would've been nice to have heads-upas we were shocked! All in all, a great time!

September 2024 5.00We booked Michael’s cabin on Lake Erie last minute. Spontaneity is the spice of life right? As we have already had 2 international trips with and without with kiddos this year, Michigan was the spot for our quick, 11 year anniversary getaway. Most of our cabin stays are usually at the Red River Gorge but this one was unique and couldn’t resist. The layout of the cabin was perfect for us and can see the kiddos come if back with us in the future. Our favorite part of course was the private dock. We spent countless hours by the lake from the moment we arrived to even that last minute deep breathe under the sun before our departure. Michael was above par and everything you want a host to be in new area. Michael and his cabin are a perfect representation of Luna Pier and for that, we will be back. And yes, the welcoming bottle of Sunset Blush didn’t make it long and that bowl of candy was empty the first night. Cheers to Michael for thinking of EVERYTHING even local coupons!

September 2024 2.00Well right away the TV remote in the livingroom was not working, had to change batteries with upstairs tv. The refrigerator went out and an old cantaloupe was in there. I left it there. The bathroom was the cleanest part of the house. Furniture was very old and uncomfortable. The view was beautiful. The best part was it was close to my friend I was visiting.

August 2024 5.00This cabin has a ton of character! Right on the lakeshore, absolutely gorgeous view, perfect beach at the public park a mile down the road. Sleepy residential community, all the peace and quiet we hoped for. Thanks to the host for leaving us some welcome snacks.
